KGO News Talk Radio Fires Away

I'm speechless as many if not most of the listeners to this radio station are. They say it will be more hard line news reporting rather than the programming of talk show hosts but this is in my opinion not the way to bring up its ratings. I'm all in favor of bringing up the ratings to where it was before after all I have been there having been drawn toward the program or go insane doing the same repetitive job as a machine operator for the US Postal Service. The listeners need new blood. Whether I will continue to be a volunteer talk call caller is irrelevant. I can always find something else. To be able to make comments about the main stream news is vital for any democracy if we can no longer make comments and judge what is right or wrong in the news then we will be doomed as empty headed people who cannot think.

A Major Sport Figure Dies

The news caught my attention. Joe Frazier died. I read the news today oh boy. It was about a former top ranked boxer in the news big time in the 1970's. He died of liver cancer and Muhammad Ali made his comment himself not in top fighting condition. Ali as many of you know has Parkinson's disease and is extremely limited in his mobility. Parkinson's disease isn't good to be sure an understatement. Not much news is reported from high celebrated figures like Ali when they are so afflicted by such a serious malady. Oh....I take that back the former Pope John Paul had Parkinson's disease and they showed him with worldwide news coverage despite his devastating affliction with this disease; it was not a pretty picture seeing him suffer like this. I have an interest in this disease because I know someone close with it. So what is my point? I believe Muhammad Ali has his intellect but it is just that his mobility is so affected by Parkinson's
that his physical appearance is of a horror story. The big news of Joe Frazier's death of recent days brings to light his major opponent in the boxing ring of the 1970's and so the light shines once again on Muhammad Ali not that I'm a fight fan so much as just a person like anyone of my readers out there in blog land who follows the news as it pertains to our self interests. Muhammad Ali is not a vegetable he is alive and has an intellect and a means to communicate his feelings even though now he can barely speak in words as he once did so glib and so vocal before he came down with Parkinson's. Parkinson's is progressive it just doesn't get any better with time and a cure for it in this era of time for someone like Ali isn't about to happen in his lifetime in as much as we are looking and hoping for a miracle. We know what they say about miracles. As of now we don't know what causes Parkinson's but in the case of Muhammad Ali
it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure he got it from being hit so many times in the head. In my opinion he is spending the rest of his life in certain agony and suffering as to what degree only you and I can be the judge of that.

Adoph Hitler Was An Artist

Educate me and I will attempt to return the favor likewise. This picture was drawn by Adolph Hitler it was shown to me when I inquire about the characteristics of Hitler's art paintings. His art works or his paintings were very good as I had just discovered recently. So this isn't just my opinion. He was good at drawing buildings but I heard he couldn't do portraits well. I'm good at tracing but if anybody can trace then how come I have never met anyone that could trace like I do? And how well do I trace? See my other blog called It Never Takes A Genius. You can see my drawings most of it traced I'm up front about it it is not for me to hide. The Great Wall of China was one of them I drew as well as the Statute of Liberty during a fireworks display occurring at night.

It's Only My Opinion

This blog isn't dead. Today I have come to rescue this blog a professional newsman I am not although to be truthful I deal with professional news people from time to time on a volunteer basis I have an opinion about the news and so does the news talk show hosts on various radio news shows. There is really no need to tell you my life's story it is about you and what you think this blog like all blogs I know have opinions and comments with which you can respond to so if you think I am nuttier than a fruit cake you can within reason voice your opinion of course anything deemed to be inappropriate....well you know what I mean no need to get on the high road towards morality all I know is that I'm a writer I do it for the love of freedom of expression and not to fulfill the needs of a job I'm not here to pretend I'm up there with the ranks of say a great writer like Norman Mailer or some of the known writers many of us are familiar with but I do know I enjoy writing as much as these great writers of my time of this era I live. My hope and objective is to be part of the Internet and contribute to society as a whole and share my thoughts and feelings and yes even my intellect with the whole of my readership and we all have an intellect. Even as I express myself to the dismay of my opponents I'm only a human being vulnerable like the rest of us to the evils and tragedy's of life. Thus far I haven't even touched the news but believe me it is coming. Today I will not forsake you I will discuss some of the news if not then there is always tomorrow and all the days to follow God willing that I should live another day. I am but a mere mortal like you and the person down the street so listen up I've news for you.

Memorial Day

This is the day Memorial Day if it wasn't for my working wife then I might not have known. As a postal supervisor one is suppose to know about this but I never was a postal supervisor. My opinion is based on my life as I know it and I know I'm retired from the Postal Service for six years now there is no holiday for me everyday is a holiday. What is so wrong with that?

This head is a self portrait I drew of myself superimposed on to the body of a surfer who looks like he knows what he is doing. This surf is a very dangerous surf known as the Banzai Pipeline only a very elite number of surfers can surf this wave and as one who dreams wild eyed dreams or the impossible dreams I am here for you so that we may both do what is impossible. Together you and I will take part in an impossible dream. But don't go out on your own this is extremely dangerous do not do this at home or anywhere just merely dream along with me and ride the waves to the highway to heaven. Everyone be safe there is no need to be sorry. My cousin lives out in Hawaii for decades now and he explained to me in person how these elite surfers ride. I've spoken to KGO radio talk show host Christine Craft on a number of occasions who rode the waves to be sure so you and I let's go surfing just grab a woody.....

When I get tired of looking at my pictures I put them away only to break them out again when I'm older and grey and then I've got something to say like hey that looks great it just made my day and no I never surfed out on the bay don't bother with me now because you see I'm on my way!
